As Patient Experience becomes an important measurable outcome, more and more hospitals are looking for ways to improve communication A novel way to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes is through patient rounding programs. Patient and Family Advisors, working in conjunction with hospital leaders, provide real time feedback and suggestions when they participate in weekly patient rounds.
